Many of the best models are compatible with smartphones. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate and creates maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms and also a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive right up to walls without crashing into them and even managed to cross thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, but it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or carpets.
The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water prior to every mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. automatic vacuum can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other combinations that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs' all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for cleaning. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction and offers many innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as required.
This robot has a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or refilled. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily removes most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the small area mats or rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary in the app). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with two spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also filled at the top of the station as they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender for our best mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure a thorough, customized clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests well while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically swings out in order to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating narrow spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can go from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is a great feature for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a large margin over obstacles. This could lead to missing spots.
Its app has a streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll need a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic in removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach all dust. This is why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once a week, especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed specifically for this purpose. It's simple to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by removing mopping and using a cheaper plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It has a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning times and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress with its 2700Pa power to take on pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested did not show problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that lets it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. This device also is able to collect more dust in a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. The app also lets you to mark off areas you want to avoid, which is a nice feature.
